Cycling
Dimon Sports is known world wide as a full time specialty speed skate
shop. But did you know that we are in our second year of providing
specialty cycling and triathlon products to athletes here in Lake
Placid and throughout North America? It only makes sense: Lake Placid is home of one of the few Ironman qualifiers for Hawaii in
North America. On any given weekend we see around 1100 cyclists,
runners and triathletes come around our corner here in town as they
train for the upcoming Ironman Triathlon this year being held on July
20th. Lake Placid has always been a destination for cyclists for it's
mountainous road riding, various cycling competitions and weekly road
rides and mini-triathlons. And of course, cycling has always been an
important part of any speed skaters training program.
